Since the weather in the Pacific Northwest can't seem to decide what it wants to do I've been sticking to the indoors lately. Things keep going from a lovely eighty degrees and sunny to the low fifties and pouring rain. There seems to be no predicting it.
Of course, being stuck inside really isn't so bad when you are working with someone with absolutely gorgeous long black hair that never ends. All the model had to do was lay back on a bunch of white sheets and it became really damn obvious what I wanted to spend my afternoon focusing on.
This image was made with a Mamiya C330 TLR and Fomapan 100 film. It was a bit challenging working with the parallax on the viewfinder given how much I wanted to frame the image with this epic circle of dark black curls, but I think after a bit of trial and error we made it work.
