Now here is an image that goes back quite a few years. I have to admit, I was pretty shocked when I pulled this image out of the developer this morning as I had completely forgotten all about it.
This image has got to go back to at least 2007 or so, maybe even earlier than that. I was doing a photoshoot in the forested areas behind Reed College near the dorms. The campus was pretty much empty as it was summer break but clearly someone's pet cat was roaming around the grounds and he wanted some attention. Obviously we had to give the little guy a little bit of what he wanted.
I clearly waited far too long to develop this particular roll of film. At some point in the last ten years it probably got some direct sunlight on it as the light leak you see here was running across the entire roll on every single frame. I know it wasn't the camera as the leak is present even in the space between frames. Not really shocking when you think about it and this is clearly a lesson in why one should never wait a decade between exposing a roll and taking the time to develop it.
This second image is from the same roll and represents more of what I was going for before getting interrupted by the cat. As you can see, there is still more of that dreaded light leak up the right hand side of the frame. Still, they are fun images and a real blast from the past!
