Sometimes just getting in the car and going without a particular destination in mind can yield some particularly interesting locations.
I was on my way out to the Salt Flats in Southern California when I came across this rock sculpture on the side of the highway. I knew right away that I had to use it. It didn't matter that it was right along side the road. I didn't care that the sun was in the absolute worst part of the sky. It was just simply there and I wanted to make a photograph of it. I only managed to pop off about twelve frames before deciding we better not push our luck, but I didn't need much time. The image speaks for itself after all.
