This has long been one of my favorite camera advertisements ever. Published in a 1986 edition of National Geographic magazine I've long admired the way this ad pretty much boasts nothing. No claims toward precise autofocus, automatic exposures, lens choices, or implications that using a Hasselblad will make you a better photographer. Heck, the advertisement doesn't even mention a specific Hasselblad camera model!!
Instead all we see is a well crafted portrait and the brand name and company address printed on the bottom of the page. How cool is that? Ultimately this serves as a reminder for me as to how powerful and high end of a brand Hasselblad once was. They didn't need to brag for business, photographers just simply associated the name with a workhorse of a camera that provided everyone one needed...so long as you had the skills to utilize it.
