Fomapan film and a very misty gray morning make for one of my favorite photographic combinations. The subtle light and relatively fine grained film make it so easy to capture details that translate so well in black and white. Wrinkles and creases on the hands, the rough edges of a stock of wheat, goose bumps on the skin.
It's inevitable I'll get my chance to work under such conditions again. For now, in the middle of summer while the sun is bright and brutal, I'll just admire the negatives from a time when mother nature works more in my favor.
