If I was a better poet I would probably spend all of my time writing prose about the ocean. Whenever I go to the coast I simultaneously feel like a kid in a candy store and completely at peace at the same time. It's a wonderful way to be quite honestly and is one of the primary reasons it will always be hard for me to leave the west coast.
This image was made somewhere near Lincoln City along a random stretch of coast line. The sun kept peaking in and out of the clouds as if to say, "here I am!" only to hide again on its journey to the water below. All I had with me was a small point and shoot camera I bought from a thrift store for a few bucks loaded with cheap Kodak Gold color film. I really couldn't have asked for it to turn out better.
