You know summer is approaching when you realize it is time to buy nothing but slow speed film again. It's kind of exciting actually to trade heavy grain for finer details. Either that, or you're going to find me pulling film quite a bit.
For this image I rated a roll of Ilford HP5 all the way down to ISO 100. I sort of dig the tonality of it. It's still a little grainy, but nice gradations of grayscale are still clearly visible. Having a nice sunset at a perfect ninety degree angle to the subject didn't hurt at all either.
