I was digging through some old files the other day and came across this little gem going back nearly a decade. If memory serves, this was actually the very first image I did working in a "professional" studio using strobes, cut backdrops, etc. etc.
To be honest, I really hated working under those conditions. It felt very stale, uncreative, and far too much like I was making images on an assembly line. I'm sure some people thrive working in that environment but I personally just do not. Give me the outdoors and sunshine and a few tree and I'm a much happier photographer. Still, I've always liked the frankness of this image and I'm grateful for the experience.
