So of course after buying a brand new (to me) Hasselblad 500c/m I had to schedule a photoshoot immediately. Luckily I had been contacted by a wonderful model who was traveling through Portland by way of the Bay Area and we managed to figure out a good time to run through a few rolls of film on a Monday morning.
The day was incredibly overcast and my natural light was a bit limited. However, the house where she was staying had some decent sized windows that I was able to utilize. Even with 400 speed film my exposures were still down to about 1/15th of a second at f/2.8 and even a bit slower at f/4. As much as I tend to hate them I was was forced to use the tri-pod for most of the session. Thankfully, I now now that the mirror lockup on the Hasselblad body is incredibly easy to use!!
