Nudes
The human figure has been a focus of my work for decades. I remember seeing a black and white high contrast photograph by Bill Brandt in my very first photography course as a teenager and it opened my creative world in ways I didn’t know were possible up to that point. There is a vulnerability that is explored when photographing the human body, and an undeniable connection at the same time created when a camera is becomes part of the equation at the moment another person is at their most honest and natural.
