Taking long walks with a camera in hand is one of the most rewarding activities I can think of. You never know what you are going to come across when one moves through the world slowly. Most of the time what I observe is mundane. Occasionally it is profound. Neither scenario is a wasted vision. The world we all inhabit is one we should all take a little more time to explore and understand.
