I really like working with Kodak Ektar film and nudes, even though it is a film stock mostly designed for landscapes, the extreme saturation in colors really works sometimes in certain conditions. Like say, photographing a nude during the last five minutes of sunshine before evening sets in. Yeah, that is a scenario where it works quite well!
I had to bracket the hell out of this particular image because for obvious reasons, photographing while pointing the camera right at the sun makes your metering go haywire. I can make some educated guesses of course, but really, it is tough to say how the film is going to render things. I wanted to make sure I got plenty of detail in the figure and I didn't mind so much if I washed everything else in the background out.
