I’m still really enjoying my experiments with RC Paper Negatives in the darkroom. This image was a bit of a risk as the exposure was a solid one minute long. I was worried the end result would be too blurry because you know… the model needs to breath and blink and do other human like things during that minute.
Fortunately I think the risk paid off and the final image came out sharper than I thought it would.
I also decided to dilute the paper developer even more than I have in the past, a full ratio of 1:40. It took quite a long time for the image to come up in the development tray but the tonal range seems really under control so I think this will be the trick going forward. Rating the paper at ISO 3 and I think I’ve got myself a winning formula.
