I've said it before on this blog and I'll say it again - I adore Fuji instant film. The colors are amazing and even in this day and age of instant feedback on digital screens I still find the notion of an instant print to be magical. Actually keeping your memories in a physical form has become such a rare thing, even when shooting with film, coming home with a print to attach to the refrigerator deserves a special mention.
These were photographed over the weekend out on the Pacific Coast. The weather was gloriously amazing considering it is the dead of winter right now. Keeping sand off of instant prints, especially when they are still a bit fresh and wet is a bit of challenge but otherwise the lovely golden sun made working with this stuff a breeze.
The moment Fuji decides not to manufacture this stuff will be a sad day for me. I'm just not a big fan of the Impossible Project film stocks so as far as I'm concerned this is the last man standing when it comes to instant film. Granted, it has been a while since I've used it so maybe I should give it another go.
