Stretching on Film

I like the subtle detail that showed up in this image despite the heavy contrast in the tones. It is is a bit hard to see in a scan, but in print it looks incredibly lovely. 

Photographed in the old City Hall building in Tacoma Washington. Easily one of the oddest places I have ever done a photo shoot.

I do a lot of traveling to small towns and a common thread I see across the United States is boarded up movie theaters along the main strip. It makes me quite sad. So many of these theaters could be community gathering places. Get people out of the h
