I haven't been doing a whole lot of pinhole photography lately, which is a shame considering it used to be one of the staples of my portfolio. I should really get back into it, especially now that I have plenty of light to work with and the bulk of the dreary winter weather seems to be behind us.
This image was made in my apartment with a thirty minute long exposure on 4x5 film. I had the model sit in the scene for about ten minutes and then asked her to step away while the camera continued to burn light onto film. Looking at this image I think I would have kept her in the frame maybe twice as long, a total of twenty minutes, but oh well. That is the nature of pinhole photography after all.
There is never a time when it isn't just one big experiment.
